Who We Are

Our Purpose. Our Vision. Our System.

We help young professionals use tools to grow a healthy relationship with themselves by enhancing their understanding of the connection between the body and mind.  We create a strong and supportive environment with individuals craving personal and developmental growth. We emphasize the balance of physical and mental health and teach how it can impact thoughts, actions, and interactions.  Maintaining a positive balance develops self-confidence, and empowers us to navigate challenges, build meaningful relationships, and connect with our true self.

Our vision is to be at the forefront of a cultural shift towards health, love, support, and comprehension of individual wholeness and humanity. We envision a society where every young professional craving an environment for growth feels fulfilled and has the knowledge, resources, and support to prioritize and nurture their mental and physical health, allowing them to unlock their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

Through group activities, exercise,  journaling, motivational speaking, and critical thinking activities, we provide tools for developing and maintaining both mental and physical health in young professionals. Our monthly events emphasize building fundamental personal development skills such as self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-discipline. Fundraising events and partnership collaborations are for supporting the necessary resources for our programs and outreach.

Your Habits + Your Environment = Your Output

You live the life you create. Your habits are constructed and supported or destroyed by your environment.

Our mission in action

Our mission in words

Move

“Movement is fundamental for all aspects of life.”

It plays a much larger role than just physical health - emotions, relationships, learning abilities and overall quality of life depend on the body's ability to move. Not everyone appreciates the same type of exercise. We prioritize movement for its own sake and incorporate different styles of workouts ultimately promoting the importance of movement in a way that is sustainable and enjoyable.

Into

The flow and connection between the body and mind.

The positive impact of exercise on cognitive function is widely acknowledged. Movement increases energy, reduces stress, improves memory, heightens concentration and calms the mind and body.

Words

Prioritize and share the practice of journaling, the life-changing impacts, and the opportunity to share the same unique experiences with everyone.

Joy, clarity, growth, emotional expression, gratitude practice, goal setting, enhanced creativity, improved communication, and self-awareness are only a few of the endless, incredible benefits of this simple yet powerful activity. We advocate and share journaling resources at our events and virtually through prompts, support and materials for mental health, clarity and understanding manifestation.

Meet the Founders

  • Kayla Logue - Founder

As a little girl growing up on St. Simons Island in Georgia Kayla's mom would tell her no dream is too big. She believes her burning desire to make an impact on this world started at a very young age but she never had clarity on what that would be until she found herself lost and stuck in a version of herself she did not recognize.

Kayla once chased what she calls an illusion of perfection and seeking a happiness that never felt real. She was trapped in surface-level fulfillment without real joy. It was not until she asked herself the questions "who am I , what do I want and who do I want to become" did Kayla make big changes towards the answers.

Kayla's extensive journey of growth and overcoming her own mental health struggles has been the most challenging and rewarding experience of her life. She wrote a book about it, called Always Squeezing Lemons, and became a bestselling author the week it was released. Kayla is now obsessed with empowering others to be the best version of themselves by being the leader of their own life and the hero of their own stories.

Kayla has been an athlete her entire life, so she's always had the "suck it up" or "rub some dirt on it" mentality. She realized having this mentality about everything in her life caused more avoiding, rather than processing of traumas. Kayla started journaling in 2020 and it became a life changing practice for her. Move Into Words was founded on the basis of combining the importance of physical and mental health while raising awareness about how impactful journaling can be.

Kayla strongly believes in radical self-accountability. Kayla says "When you’re showing up for yourself at your fullest potential, you do the same for others. It starts with you."

  • Paula Garcia - Founder

Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Paula moved to the United States in 2014, pursuing both academic and athletic excellence on a full athletic scholarship. After earning a degree in Finance, she embarked on a successful career in Corporate America. Yet, despite outward success, she felt a deep sense of misalignment with her true purpose.

Paula's own journey through the challenges of mental health led her to a transformative path. Through resilience, self-reflection, and a commitment to healing, she pursued her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and discovered a passion for empowering others to take control of their mental and physical well-being. Paula firmly believes that everyone has the strength to overcome their inner battles, just as she has.

In 2023, with Kayla Logue, Paula co-founded Move Into Words, dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being through movement, mindfulness, and connection. Both women are driven by the belief that when individuals are both mentally and physically healthy, they can fully show up for themselves and their communities. Through MIW, they offer tools and support that inspire people to move beyond their limitations and embrace their potential.

As a former competitive athlete with over a decade of experience, and now as a passionate mental health advocate, Paula is committed to fostering spaces where healing and personal growth can flourish.

Paula says "Let’s continue to break the stigma, prioritize our mental health, and move into the power of our words and actions."

“Healthy nourishment for your body and mind is key. To grow muscle you need to train and fuel accordingly. same for the mind. You have to constantly exercise your mind with proper thoughts to be healthy and grow. To develop, foster, and support overall healthy nourishment, environment is key.”
